Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began by releasing a humorous rap track that dealt with issues of race and sexuality. Her fame grew into Hollywood after she released several rap songs. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her. In the following years, she took up the classical and hip-hop genres. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies, and was learning Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. When she graduated, she started to concentrate on music. The year 2012 saw My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an online hit, and it was featured in her debut LP Yellow Ranger. The album also contained viral hits like body positive Queef & winking home tour NYC Bitche$1. This latter song was directly tied to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. Alongside having published a book, her other career was as a singer. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, in Fina We Trust in June of that year.
