Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Lynn Hatcher was the daughter of Teri Hatcher. She was born in Palo Alto California on December 8, 1964. Her mother, Esther, was a computer programmer at Lockheed Martin, and her father, Owen, was an nuclear physicist, electrical engineer and nuclear engineer. Teri was a ballet student at the San Juan School of Dance and was raised in Sunnyvale, California. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain, and was given the "Most likely to be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher was a graduate of De Anza College, where she was a mathematician and engineer. She also took acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri disclosed that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually attacked her since the age of 5. She also helped Santa Clara County prosecutors in their case against Stone following the 14-year-old victim of Stone's committed suicide. Stone was found guilty of four counts of molestation. He died from colon cancer while in prison
